I wouldn't recommend the G700; I believe it has an ADSN-9800, which has acceleration.

If not though go with logitech or Zowie EC/AM or any Steelseries.
I've also heard good things about Corsair M60 but never used one but supposedly they have very good build quality, don't know how they are regarded on OCN though.
I haven't heard any problems with Logitech quality, and they have a warranty service, so it should be fine.

The Corsair M60 and most of the Steel series mice also have ADSN-9000 series, so there is acceleration.

The g400 has issues with the cord breaking(still would not deter me from buying it if the DA wasnt a better fit for me), the g500 is built like a tank but has acceleration.

Only a 5% pos/neg curve. Not going to really effect casuals unless they're OCD bout perfection.

I assume over half the gaming population has EPP and raw input accel curves ticked by default regardless. (much worse)

I personally swear by the deathadder because its ergonomics are spot on for my hand. However you should definitely go and try out some mice at a computer shop nearby so that you pick a mouse fit for you.

The G400 cord is pretty cheaply made, but Logitech will replace it if it wears out AFAIK. It doesn't look like much of a problem to me, if you don't move it around a lot.

That's probably true. Also, it also only affects low sensitivity fans, which everyone should be IMO biggrin.gif.

Really? I have to finger grip mine; nothing else works for my, and it doesn't work that well, as that puts most of the weight at the back, so it fishtails if I don't hold it hard.
