Deciding on a desk

I have recently entered the glorious world of PC gaming, and this christmas, I plan on doing my first build, and creating my "battlestation."

I really, really need a desk, but I really have no idea how well some of them are. I have two that I have found on IKEA's website. I wish I could get a Galant L-shaped desk, but shipping is the same price as a Playstation 3, so that is out of the question.

Here are the two desks in question:

The first is the Vika Moliden - http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S99843742/

The second is the Fredrik - http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40111124/

Is there any desk that you guys would recommend? I really like the design of these desks, so something similar to this. As for size, it needs to be 50+ inches, because I plan on having 3 monitors, along with several other items.

I like the Vika, but the Fredrik have a "cable management" bracket, but if you don't mind the cables or good at hiding it, get the Vika, looks similar to the Galant. And I'm assuming you have a ikea near you so you don't have to pay for shipping lol

I don't have one near me, but these desks have shipping that is at least reasonable, the desk that I wanted from IKEA was $160, plus $250 for shipping, so that was out of the question, luckily, Target sells a really, really nice desk that is similar, with free shipping. I'm still not sure what desk I'm going with yet,so I'll just have to keep looking into it.

Well I wanted the Galant from ikea, but shipping is too much. I'd probably go with the Vika, since its something similar to it lol
