Have you volt modded your GPU?.. That's the only way you can get high numbers like 1300Mhz.

I'm not surprised with 8xMSAA result. It's Kepler plus the 192-bit bus, which with overclocking can get to around 170-176 GB/s bandwidth, but otherwise is at a low 144 GB/s bandwidth.

8xMSAA will murder any GTX 660 Ti, and i don't see the point of 8xMSAA myself personally. Then again, i do run a 2560x1440 screen, so all those extra pixels negates AA itself. At most, only 2xMSAA is needed for that delicious resolution.

honestly i have 660ftw and am running on 1080 CS3 at 40-41 min/avg fps with very high and fxaa, 4xmsaa and i get 31-35fps. I plan to get 2560x1440p and then either change to 770 or just use 660ftw with fxaa, fxaa suffices totally in my thoughts

best

I got this EVGA GTS 450 SC in my box of goodies that I have forgotten about, I could use it as PhysX to the GTX 660 Ti
if there was enough games to utilize it, still might just slap it in there anyways and bench what there is.
just for kicks and turn up the 'eye-candy'..

I honestly don't remember the last time I needed more than x2 AA to get rid off edges. Really.
Actually I DO, when I had a 1280x1024 monitor who-let-rip-smiley.png

Can't think of max AA as something to brag rights or benchmark.

One of mine hits 1315 after Kboost and one hits 1280 max I think. biggrin.gif
I got reallll lucky. I can't believe someone returned my cards to Fry's (how I got them for $275 at the time). I plugged em in and my jaw instantly dropped.

In the last week or so I have gotten 3 off of Ebay, brand new PNY, for $240 or less. The first two were at $240 shipped and the third one I ordered last night was at $225 shipped. Just keep an eye out and you will find deals on them. So far two are benching really well and are getting into my CF HD7970 territory, so three will be interesting. All will be water cooled too.
