wowow... 1333 mhz is definitly not stable with new 314 drivers, even with the modded bios tongue.gif But 1320mhz seems stable for now..

Also it seems that the 660 ti pcb is hardware limited to 1,212 volt. but that should be enough for a hefty oc anyway!

Still stable but temperatures is rising dangerously high so im struggling a little with throttling! Thinking of going over to watercooling the gpu.

And i need some new fans for my case!

I dont care about sound. I have closed earphones. I can handle some Jet engines! I need to cool my damn graphics card biggrin.gif

this one was on 314.07. i had to drop boost clock back down a bit for 314 as well.

If its stable in heaven it should be stable in far cry 3 too, but I found out Far Cry 3 draws more power, probably because of more memory usage, thus generating alot of xtra heat, thus leading to throttling.. frown.gif

Top temps in far cry 3 was closing in on 77 degree celsius with every fan in my computer set on 100% at a clock speed of 1333 mhz tongue.gif

What are your temps in Far cry 3 \ Other game where vram usage spikes?

I need a new cooling solution before doing any more overclocking thinking.giftongue.gif

I find the new Heven 4 more tougher of a app as far as clock speed . I had to back off 2 steps as I was able to do 1241 in Heven 3.0 and Far cry 3 , even was testing 1352 in heven 3 and was fine . never tried farther ,this was stock voltage .

With MSI cooling and AB fan profile I have no problems keeping GPU at or below 60c , it runs around 55-58c in FC3 ..
Thats with fan % of around 50-51 at max loads .

why not just try a aftermarket cooler ? a lot of people are getting way to much heat for a good overclock if your gpu it going over 68c it will throttle anyway most of the time, I fitted this to my PNY GTX 660 ti XLR8

I fitted this to my 660 ti 3 days ago and its knocked off around 36c my max temps now never go over 48c wheather im benching heaven 4.0 in extream or playing any game farcry 3 bf3 black ops 2

im running lower clocks than you with around the same results in heaven 4.0, this cooler does look a little weird on the 660 ti as it sits kina off the pcb a little but remember this cooler was made really for the 670 and 680 and people that have already fitted it to there 680's are having great results and for as little as £29.99 you cant really go wrong.

one thing though to keep in mind is anyone with Sli setups this cooler probs wont fit as it takes up 3 slots

Just got my “N660Ti-2GD5/OC" Single fan OC'd 660 ti. Can't wait to install it and try it out.
However I have a quick question about it. I'm on an older amd phenom computer with a ati graphics card. What should I do about drivers? I'm thinking it might just be easiest to re-install windows again. Since i've filled it up with so much junk that I don't need. Could someone explain how exactly I do this? When I'm installing windows, should I take the old gpu out and put in this new one? Or would I need the old one for some reason?

ouch. max i see is 60c and that was after about 2 hours of playing. Stays at 99% gpu usage the whole time averaging around 45fps with everything maxxed except msaa @ 2x
