Just upgraded from EVGA GTX 550Ti(2g) in SLI to Nvida GTX 660Ti(2g) in SLI. Have to say such a noticeable improvement. Quieter, cooler and overall just seem to work so much better. Have yet to even try messing with them.

The improvement of performance should be spectacular! Especially if you can crank your babies to the heights some of us have reached thumb.gif

Same upgrade I did, HUGE difference in performance.

Yep you certainly have 75.1fps on valley drool.gif Best I can get so far is 71.6fps 1172 / 3624 smile.gif on modded reference evga / leadtek cards But I only just learned last weekend how to mod and flash me bios so there is still room for improvement........I hope wink.gif

I can't wait to see what my babies can do with a modded bios... but I gotta get my airflow in my HAF XB under control and cool down my primary before that even gets close to happening.

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the forum but I'm an old reader of overclock.net. I just got my new EVGA GTX 660 TI FTW Signature 2 about a week ago. I love it especially since I went to this from an EVGA 8800 GTS. Just curious has anyone ever tried Pyrit with the 1344 cuda cores this bad boy has? I'm interested in hearing what kind of speed it clocked in at?

Welcome! And I don't think so, never heard about Pyrit.

Btw, regarding the 192-bit bus:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-660-ti-memory-bandwidth-anti-aliasing,3283-10.html

Take this review with a grain of salt though, since even the mighty GTX 670 256-bit bus lost badly!

For me, the bus isn't really, or seems, much of an issue, really!

Wow, seems like memory does make quite a difference.
I'm at 1228 / 3400 (+150 / 400 in eVGA precision) and my best was 68.5 fps.
Can't get my memory nor GPU clock any higher though or the drivers start crashing..... which to me is kinda surprising as literally every 660 Ti I've seen was able to get 3600 on the memory..
