[Official] NVIDIA GTX 660TI Owners club - Page 182

Does anyone know how I could set up 2 monitors with my MSI 660Ti? The only thing is that I want to use one monitor to play games in FULL SCREEN (not windowed) while the other monitor will have monitoring software like precision or AB to check my gpu usage or what not.

Just connect both monitors in the avaiable slots and go to NVIDIA Control Panel > Monitor > Configure Displays/Videos

Thanks Tong! thumb.gif Yeah I've done that before a while back but I'll mess with it some more since I have an 21inch monitor laying around and I always thought that if I set a game to full screen, it would full screen across both my 27inch and my 21inch monitor.

It has been just a great upgrade. I have never been one for the latest greatest top of the line cards. I thought the 550Ti's were doing rather good but got that bug to change them out. Got a chance to run BF3 with everything maxed out and sat there looking at it thinking...WHOA!....nice.

I've managed to fix the PCI-E lane speed issue! Running at x8/x8 now thumb.gif
I believe it was caused by not fitting the second card properly, since I left the clip that holds it in place open. Btw, I also tried to swap the cards and for some reason, before I figured the issue, the speed would reach x1! Check the bottleneck caused by x1/x8 :

And I also noticed an improvement over the x4/x8 link. x4/x8

Finally, proper speeds. x8/x8:

Make sure you're all running@full speed guys! wink.gif

why 3GB cards, you will not be able to utilize the 3GB with the 192-bit bus..
