Glad I could help .
Yes, it pays to see what min voltage you can do and still keep it stable , just don't go for sky with clock rates .
Brute force voltage maxing out will just increase TDP and heat , so use when needed .

1320 is great oc that you can do 24/7 I am sure w/o issue .

We have to remember these cards do 1200 out of box which is already OC 100mhz ? so your talking total OC of +200 mhz , almost 20% , that is nice boost .

Edit: don't know if this was ever mentioned but the added voltage using AB on PE versions happens across 2D and 3d modes , So its not like in bios where you can raise just the max boost states .

Well, I unlocked my card to max boost to 1400mhz but it can only get 1333mhz with +700 memory stable in SLI. These FTW gpus are amazing. Managed to get 20k 3dMark11 too biggrin.gif

In other words MSI PE are bypassing the limit by adding a second voltage regulator .

The 670 PE on another thread was measure with almost 1.3v with voltmeter with slider at +100mv (stock bios) .

SO if you unlock bios I can see a issue with using more voltage. Since you can't directly read voltages with PE versions (GPU-Z ) reading wrong, not total voltage .

To see its easy to test, run BM with slider at 0mv with unlocked bios, then raise slider +100 , if power % goes up like 10W you know your adding voltage on top of unlocked bios .

Its one reason they clock high you can raise voltage if you use right tool (AB ) .

Oh yeah, that might have been the case with the old(better) 660Ti PE. I have the new version which Nvidia "fixed"

wth.gif is that 48.8 FPS AVG i see there with Dual cards at 1080p? Or is that a single card, but Valley and EVGA precision reports it as Dual cards? Because, from what i see in your Monitoring tool, both cards are at 1333Mhz and 99.0% Usage, so unless i am seeing things here, there is something really wrong with your system on valley. lol you can compare it to mine below. Have it checked out, you're suppose to get up to 78 AVG or more with your 1333mhz, idk... redface.gif

Mine are 660 non ti btw

So voltage control doesn't help, make any difference on your card with AB 2.2.3 ?

what is your bios # , I find it hard to believe voltage is disabled, other than software wise .
Not all cards are same ,some cards don't run much better with more voltage either done through bios or software .

ever card clocks different max .

Yup, voltage controls does nothing for me. I am using a unlocked BIOS right now. I am able to hit 1306Mhz with my card stable, voltage stays at 1.21 no matter what I do.

In case you have not already seen this: http://www.tomshardware.com/news/MSI-GTX-660-670-overvolting-PowerEdition,18013.html

Your first person I have read of it not working .

you do know its not going to show any higher than 1.175 in GPU-Z .

Yes, I read that but the GPU is not getting overvoltaged unless you raise it ,the circuit they point out is running out of spec , that is how it gets high constant max clocks . I guess you could call it cheating but they make it sound as GPU is getting greater than 1.175 out of box .

I always had low scores on Valley but never looked into it.

Edit: Found out what the problem was. I had to set the Nvidia control panel settings back to default. My score almost double biggrin.gif Thanks for the help!
