[Official] NVIDIA GTX 660TI Owners club - Page 233

Well, the time has come. My secondary card has already been sold to a friend, and the primary card (the beast OC'er) will most likely go up in a classified sometime next week if not sooner.

Again, if anyone in the states is looking to get your hands on my beast of a 660Ti, let me know ASAP! thumb.gif

Gonna be offering it up to folders as well (probably a slight discount). GL to my 660Ti friends, I hope I was at least a little helpful over my many posts in here rolleyes.gif

Don't listen to those tourism ads, it's not really more fun in the Philippines. rolleyes.gif

It's more expensive in the Philippines (if you love your rig) biggrin.gif

So guys. Do you think that GPU Boost 2.0 could be patched into series 600?
Would be hella useful for those who don't care about temps and want all that performance instead.

Well, I saw the opening post say to ask for help here, and I think this may be a graphics card issue, am hoping for some assistance!

Just recently decided to hook my 32" panasonic viera (lcd tv, model is L32U22 if it matters) to my computer, using an hdmi from my 660 TI. As it's loading, it shows the windows is loading screen, then goes black, and my tv acts like no signal is going through. If I disconnect the hdmi cable from the tv, then plug it back in, it snaps to the "enter password" screen, and loads all dandily.

This is a 60HZ, 1080p tv, and I'm using 1920x1080 as my resolution. It runs fine once it's booted, games play, videos, etc, etc.

I'm not sure though if this is a graphics card issue or a mobo issue, but figured I'd start with the device it's hooked directly too!

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

If it matters, my specs are:

i7-3770 @ 3.9GHz
16GB of DDR3 at 7-8-8-24
Nvidia Geforce 660TI
ASrock Z77 Extreme 4

If any extra info is needed let me know!

I tried to click on the "FORM" on the first page and could not get it. I got my EVGA 660ti SC a couple of weeks ago after my XFX 6870 died. Perhaps running her for hours on end on a 1200 overclock was not a good idea (she died in less than a year).

On the up side, my RMA resulted in a 6950 dual dissipation coming to me last week. I juts sold it and used the proceeds to buy 16gb of Corsair Vengeance. My rig is seriously starting to look good for someone who just got into PC gaming last fall.

About how long until we see a 770 GTX? The release of the 780 put the breaks on me buying anything atm. Seems prudent to wait.

Damn, where do you shop? You can get an EVGA GTX 780 for $730 from PC Case Gear. You can get the Superclocked Edition for $740. The Galaxy card for $770. Gigabyte for $830. The only 780 I've seen at $850 is the ASUS.

They all basically come out of the box the same, so why spend $850 on an ASUS card when you can get an EVGA card for $120 less?! Mind you, you will have to wait as they are all sold out. The cheapest you can get right now, is the Galaxy card for $770 which is still damn better than $850.
