It's only a $20 difference between the MSI Power Ed 2gb and the eVGA SC 3gb. I only game on a single screen at 1080p so I'm not sure of any real advantages. Also how would a 660Ti hold up against a 7950 3gb? I can get them both for about the same price right now.

My friend who got me into PC gaming is running a 560 too. The 3GB card is good at higher res than 1080p... that's about it because if a card runs out of vram, I believe it has to borrow from main memory and it'll affect performance... right now 2GB is enough but it could go over that soon. I don't know but next gen is coming, I would go with the 3GB to be safe but I've read and I was told when buying my card that the 2GB is faster (I really don't know why). I was going to buy the 7950 but it didn't fit in my old case, it does outperform the 660Ti and it has a much wider memory bus, it's a top card for its price. I'm not sure about the cooling for the 7950 though but that's important. Look at some benchmarks to give you an idea, technically though the 7950 is the better card but other factors may come into it like SLI/XFIRE, cooling, drivers, power usage, vram etc... Also, two 660Ti's scale really well, they do literally go to double the performance, not so sure on the 7950 and XFIRE.

Tomb Raider is an awesome game, I was really impressed with the gameplay and the cinematics, the story though was a little cliche but you can forgive it for that. Bioshock Infinite though is really one of the best games I've played (not the best) but really good. Don't worry about not playing a previous one, I haven't played Tomb Raider since one that was on the original XBOX and I've got the first Bioshock on PC and XBOX 360 but I didn't really enjoy it much (probably because I played it later). You've got one tough choice here, since we're on PC though, graphically, Tomb Raider is far ahead... if that matters. Have to get Bioshock Infinite on PC though, the low res textures on console are just shocking, bookcases look like they were imported from Kingdom Hearts on PS2.

I can imagine, I always have that same problem... if it helps, I thought Bioshock Infinite was amazing but I had more fun playing Tomb Raider, I couldn't put my controller down (haven't done that in such a long time) and this was on PS3, on PC it just looks incredible. Have to warn you though it did freeze on me once, I think the performance is fixed but the crashing still needs work, they're both AMD games by the way.

Just realized that you're rocking a 6970, then don't worry at all about crashes or performance, you should be good.

I can't stand the drivers and the utilities available. My last card before this one was an EVGA 8800 which literally is still working in one of my friends backup rigs. Great support from them. Great driver support from Nvidia. Plus adaptive v sync kind would be great for multiplayer FPS no input delay and no tearing(which I can't stand).

That's right you're getting a 770, are you getting the EVGA superclocked? that is honestly the best card looking I've ever seen. The GeForce Experience is actually pretty good at optimizing games for you, no complaints, don't see any downside to it. Saw some benchmarks today, right in between the 780 and 680 as expected. Seems like one awesome card.

Ya I was going to buy a 660ti and then another to SLI them but that would mean future proof the PSU as well. Once the 770 came out it was a no brainer.
Probably just the stock speed ACX model by EVGA. The SC is a tiny OC for 10 bucks and I am willing to bet I can get that without dropping the extra 10.

Is that like the Nvidia Catalyst? or more like Radeon Pro?
