Here are the new benches at 'stock' clocks in SLI drunken.gif pretty sure im bottlenecked now

The cards sound 100% quieter than the 560's, but the fans barely came on and the temps seemed pretty hot on auto. What program do you use to set up a fan profile?
Also i couldn't use the small door on my case that i mentioned before frown.gif They stick out just a little too much, (main door is okay) Also, would have preferred the power connector on the end of the card rather than the side, but damn do they look nice!

gonna play some games now thumb.gif

Very nice!!! You can use MSI After Burner or Precision X (evga) to make a custom fan profile. I have the same card as you and I haven't seen it get too hot. What temps are you getting?

Thanks for the info. Well, SLI the top card always gets a lot hotter (I'm sure the sound card pressed right against it isn't helping), it got up to about 83 on Auto Fans, but the fans barely went over 35%.Benchmarks with the fans set higher got my temps to cool down a lot. 68 max on the hot card. Going to set up a custom fan profile later tonight.

So, while doing my upgrades a year ago when I got the 'Gen 3' mobo, I didn't realize the 2500k CPU I got at the same time doesn't even support the PCI-E 3.0, only 2.0. doh.gif

I was excited to finally have 3.0 GPUs frown.gif I've since read 3.0 doesn't make much of a performance difference at this point in time anyways (?)

3.0 does make difference above 3 cards
when I find the link, in this same forum, that shows the difference, I shall post it thumb.gif

Wanted a piece of advice.Ordered my asus direct cu top 660ti.I m on 1440*900 monitor and pentium g630 cpu(which according to tomshardware is a decent gaming cpu).My mobo is gigabyte h61.I will be upgrading to a quad core haswell and a 1080p ips monitor in a few months time. Will i be able to play games like borderlands 2,crysis 2,metro 2033,gw2 on atleast 30 fps on ultra settings?

You would, but, at least get a 2nd generation i5/i7, like 2500K or 2600K.
IPS monitors are best for static images and photoshopping, but not for gaming. You'd better off with a 120hz monitor imo thumb.gif
