Just curious to know what is the difference with my Gigabyte GTX 660s and a Gigabyte GTX 660 Ti?

I have my GTX 660s bios flashed and they seem to be stable at 1245MHz core clock @ 1.212v (and the power limit is at 100%, should I bump it to 170% or will that cause more issues?)

Thanks in advance.

Your card will probably last until the end of this year.

Ti's use a nerfed 670/680 Chip (GK104). 660 uses the GK106 and has less cuda cores and stuff.

Thanks for the information.

As in last until the end of the year, and then it's dead (cus I'm squeezing a lot out of it?)

If so, this is not good, cus my warranty has four months left.

I have no problem upgrading, but I'm waiting to see the GTX 880 (if that's what they're going with next).

The two cards seem to be getting bottlenecked by my stock CPU anyway, but the MMORPG I plays is calling for a new CPU anyway.

I will try to do a run again later night to get some screenies, I havent got gpuz running when I make the run yesterday, because it's in the middle of the night and I dont expect to get score higher than 10k. But my AB settings where +100 on CV, max power output, +180 on core clock going ~1400 mhz.

I have gotten like P16200 for 3DMark11 and 9975 for Firestrike. That's with 1350Mhz core/7000Mhz memory but it's not gaming stable. My stable speeds are in my sig

I think it depends on how much the *power regulator (i forgot what part is this in the gpu)* can or may be able to give to your card. So it varies with different manufacturer. :S

The main reason you see different max % for the same total max is because each card has a different default wattage which is what the slider is based off .

So for example say your default (100%)on a reference card is 150w with a 200w max so here the slider would show 133% .

Now on MSI 660ti PE your default (100%) is 175w so for same 200max the slider only goes to 114% .

If the card has different max well that to can change slider max % .
These values (default 100% and max wattage) are set in bios .
