i'm tired with the huge cases, too much space(noise) for nothing, the last one was the silverstone ft02,and the previous lian li pc-80,corsair 600t
so i decide to go for mini itx,and probably will be portable also, silverstone sg08 is my choice,at my last setup 1155,i realized that the system was very powerful even at default settings,
specially the cpu 3770k,so i ordered evga stinger z77+3770k+680/660ti??,and i will keep the same performance even with this tiny case, and the major thing will be extreme silent!. thumb.gif
if i change the cooler,i'm sure 3770k will be at 4.5Ghz easily, without any heat restriction, but for Gpu will be difficult..maybe a slight OC..

You should be ok with that case even with OC'ing. the GPU is positioned so that it'll be pulling air directly from the outside rather than air circulated within the case. (Sweet case by the way)

Malmental just weighed in said you should be OK with the 660TI @ 1080 thumb.gif But if you budgeted for a 680, personally, I would go with that over a 660 since the 680 will give you an slight edge for future proofing. If go with the shroud design though, don't know how you'll be able keep the noise down with any card. rolleyes.gif

thanks guys,

Btw nice performance from MSI GTX 660 Ti Power Edition OC,

MSi N660GTX-Ti PE/OC is a beast, no doubt.
@ Inacoma79 - thanks for the shot out..

@ gbak - if waffling between the 660Ti and the 680 just compromise and run the 670..
can't wait to see your finished build..

What core clocks are you guys running at?

I'm pretty stable on 1280 MHz, even while folding...
Can only get 1228 stable on mine, though I can crank the memory up to 7000 with a little voltage boost.
Looking into getting a 660 ti or 2. Any contenders for "best" card? Granted, best card is subject to opinion but by best card, I'm looking for good OC headroom, enhanced PCB, and a superb cooler.

+ Rep for any suggestions.

I'm fond of my MSI OC power edition. It overclocks like a champ both core and memory.

Hmm those are very nice looking cards indeed. And only 269.99 after rebate....bulb.gif

I bought two MSI PE 660Ti's... you won't be sorry man. my ABurner shows em at like 1230mhz in game/folding and they never break 60C in SLI... I love em to death! The Twin Frozr IV heatsink seems to be the life saver for me, compared to all the cards I've previously had. Can't go wrong man. Can't go wrong. thumb.gif
