If not, there shouldn't be anything standing in the way of reflashing the WF2 with the OC BIOS and saving a few bucks, right?

There should be, else there is no reason why my non OC GB crashes even with +30/+400 which is like half the oc or more, than the people here are getting although my temps are fine.

Right now I have it on +20/+380 for stability.

I can try to flash the OC bios, if there is one available. Will this one from GB's site do?

What is your voltage set to?
Set at maximum, 1175mV.

Found the OC bios:
http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/126511/Gigabyte.GTX660Ti.2048.120731.html

I get an error when comparing both bios, which seems to be expected but what if flashing goes wrong, will I be able to go back to the other bios I have as a backup, or will the card get ruined if the OC bios doesn't work on this card?

Use the KGB tool to unlock your own bios, I posted a link to that thread a few posts back. You'll be able to run with 1212mV then. That should give you a few clocks more...

Cool I found the post, which bios am I supposed to use though? one from the list or just the 660ti OC version.

EDIT: I just unlocked the current one, but the card crashes all over the place on default settings, I suppose this one is just a bad OC'er.

Do you use Afterburner or PrecisionX? These let you set the power target to over 100% so if you havent, set it to max. In PrecisionX, you can enable K-Boost by clicking on adjust voltage and then click on K-Boost and restart pc. Hope this works!

nope, my cards default clock with the new bios jumped to 1320MHz, the same thing probably happened to yours. You'll have to down clock the card with afterburner/precisionX.

If the card/system crashes before you can down clock, try setting it in safe mode.

Yeah I did downclock it, it was running on around 1230mhz. I used -100 on core using afterburner but I didn't think it was worth it so I flashed the old bios again.

Weren't you able to get higher clocks with the voltage increase?
As I said I thought it wasn't worth it. Sure I would be able to get 10-20mhz but that's too low for voltage increase.
