So, is Maxing Voltage safe? What really impresses me is how you managed to keep temps low at such high clock/voltage.

It will reduce the lifetime of the chip and memory, but by how much I can't tell you. The memory may run pretty hot, and some of the memory chips are cooled by open air.

Settings: MSI Afterburner 2.2.3

Core Voltage = Maxed
Memory Voltage = Maxed
Auxiliary Voltage = Maxed

Core OC = +140
Memory OC = +800

Fan: Max Temps around 55C

I really want to hit the 45FPS mark lol

Nice card, you got a winner! All of us are thinking about unlocking bios' now lol

I was going to post some pictures of me changing out the TIM on my main card, but they keep uploading upside down. They're right side up in windows but uploading to OCN they don't come over right. Tried rotating them natively using photo software, but no go.

Any one know whats the deal? I took the pictures using my iPhone.

I think it's a problem with OCN. It happens to all mobile uploaded pictures. : \

Thanks man! Yeah not sure if ill mod the BIOS on this card...I did mod the BIOS on my previous gtx 460s but just to reduce the minimum fan speed cuz they were quite audible at 30%. Besides my old AMD CPU would still bottleneck my sli set up.

Thanks! It's an ok score...is it stable, probably not it's just for fun. I only run +30 core and +580 on memory in Precision X for daily use. Good luck man and post some results so i don't get too bored @ work tomorrow lol

Maxing out the voltage won't hurt these cards, there's an entire thread that's dedicated to unlocking the bios to get most out of the 600s, voltages, it seems is the main hurdle, here

What are you rez are you playing? 1080 or IPS? In either case these cards have no issues.

Right now I'm sitting on a 1050 display but will be picking up a 1080 monitor in the next month or so. I know its silly to be running SLI on a 1050 display but I couldn't pass up the card being $279; have not seen the SC at the price.

I did do a BIOS mod and had no luck in SLI. I didn't change anything after unlocking, only the lower fan limit to 21% for idle. Anytime I would load up Heaven it would run the bench for 10 seconds then crash. I started on 150% power and worked my way down to 100% and it never worked. Might have missed something I needed to change in the BIOS but at that point I decided to flash back to stock and it hasn't given me any grief. I would love to have a 21% idle fan so I might flash it again and tweak the power to be max 123% and see what happens.

Did you enable "K BOOST" in Precision X?

I did not. It gives me a message about disabling SLI whenever I go to enable K Boost - which I don't want to do, right?
