because ppl are gonna buy it whether its useful or useless haha. DX 10 cards beat every DX 9 cards in the market right now.

Also, Nvidia releases DX 10 cards early to show that they are ahead of ATI. Its COMPETITION

Who ever said it's useless? People only think that this is odd because they are looking at the 8800 as a dx10 card that was released early. Look at it as an extremely kick *** dx9 card - just the only one that can be upgraded to dx10. Even if you don't want to look at it that way - the card is done now. Why sit on it until feb just because they can't make drivers for an unreleased dx api until then?
