black widow keycaps

Thread Starter
hello,

this is my 1st post on this forum , been a silent viewer since months, you guys are doing a great job!

i have a black widow which i bought a week ago,

the biggest issue i was having with it was that the key-caps are made of poor quality and they kept popping off , so i replaced the key caps with filco black's.

but i was unable to change the CTRL , ALT , spacebar, FN AND MACRO RECORDING KEY in the bottom row , and the FN key keeps popping off which is annoying me a lot.

is there any keys available in the market that will fit the CTRL , ALT , spacebar, FN AND MACRO RECORDING KEY in the bottom row??

i have also bought set of WASD keys from ebay to give it a more old school look, which i will be replacing once they come in the mail :

please i need some advice as to what can i do?? will the space bar and the bottom row fit? it there any way to make em fit??

any one has any BW with replaced bottom keys as a example ???

regards

The bottom row does not look standard size... sadly that means it will be difficult (imposisble?) to find third party replacement keycaps.

If the keycaps are problematic (like you said some were popping off) your best bet would be to let Razer replace them for you.

of coz if you can find keycaps of the same size, they will fit into place, but unless you custom make those keycaps, they won't have the legends (esp Fn, macro) you need. Of course if you find out your keycap sizes, you can custom your order from WASD...

Just that you have bought it for a short time and the keycaps seems defective, it's your own choice whether to get a replacement or not.
