I just RMAed mine. Had something pop/spark and burn the heck out of the board. RMA process was quick, though it was on the budget side. Doesn't matter, since in the end, I got a working board back (today actually). Here's a quick breakdown:

Sunday the 13th: E-mailed in my RMA
Monday the 14th: Was e-mailed forms to fill out by ASRock. Replied with completed forms
Tuesday the 15: RMA was approved
Friday the 18th: Package was shipped for Monday delivery (SoCal to NorCal)
Tuesday the 22nd: Received e-mail from ASRock stating that the processing had begun, noting it could take 5-7 days to complete
Thursday the 24th: 11:00AM: Received new board from FedEx 5:00PM Received e-mail from ASRock stating they had shipped out my package, along with a tracking # biggrin.gif

Although the way my room is setup, my computer isnt viewable from my bed, so if the light is on and not blocked, it still doesn't light the room up much. They do have these things you can buy which you stick to let lights on electronics that will either completely get rid of the light, or just make it less bright.

hmm.. ok so no way to change it in the bios then. i wonder if that can be patched in the bios.

the Blinking LED is actually helpful, actually tells you whether or not your system is on. might be annoying, but you get used to it eventually.

Guys, today i'm going to order the CPU for my new build. However i'm not sure if the I7 is worth the extra money compared to the i5 3570k. I know the I7 has Hyperthreading but is it worth it for gaming?

Thanks

not really if its just gaming unless you play those rare heavily multithreaded games. if you care about anything besides gaming like video editing, photoshopping, virtualisations then it would matter

you can turn the hdd light and the power light off in the bios, find the good night led option.

There are better things to spend the money difference from I5 to I7 on!

I am a little upset but I still cannot be sure if it is the card or if my internet is just horrible.

that's exactly what happened to mine, that's why i replaced it, then the replacement acts like that too, lol.
i think there is some kind of interference going on, specially when you are gaming, though i did not experienced that when i'm still using the gtx 560, it just started when i upgraded to gtx 580.
now i'm just using a usb wifi.
