Yeah, all these last processors are nothing special, way more important to put the money into the new graphics cards, I might wait for amds offerings, but the 780 looks like a winner to me, if amd does it again and has a either similar priced but faster card, or cheaper and just as fast card I will buy that.

I am much more inclined to buy an s3 and new psu above anything else though.

I think know you are right I just read the reviews on haswell the heat issue is worse than ivy as expected
but where SB averaged 4.7 Haswel averaged 4.5 looks like Haswell is going to average 4.2

Not really surprising, on-die vreg never sounded like a good idea to me.
