Get the Tuniq tower or BT VX instead of the Zalman.

Look at my log to see my temps with the Tuniq tower in a few days.

I heard the CNPS9500 cools much better when you move more air through it and Im having thunderblades front and back of it moving air through it. Don't know how good it will be compared to the Tuniq Tower or BT VX but I must have its green nVidia fan

same question: do u really need DX10 now??

if not, taking the 7950GT is a good option, but i prefer X1950XTX, which really smoke the GT imo...

if u insist in having 8800, then i do not recommend wasting money on a 7950 GT, get a 7300GT or X1300XT instead, decent enough to last u until ur 8800 comes.

dun really like eVGA mobo, prefer Gigabyte DS3 instead, good for ocing, but can't SLi

other than that, should be fine

Tuniq Tower 120 $50
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835154001

Crucial Technology 2GB $230
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820148017

I'd take those over the G.Skill and change the PSU to this

PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610 $170
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817703005

If it was my build I would also get rid of the case and sound card and just upgrade to an 8800GTS

Yes the X1950XTX blows the 7950GT away, but it also costs about $150 more. I wanted to buy a 7950GT and step up, so getting a 7300GT or anything won't matter because I will still have to pay more of a difference later on anyways.

eVGA arn't known to make good motherboards, but this one with the new 680i chipset is the best overclocker yet. Better then any Asus, Abit, or Gigabyte currently out.

The Crucial RAM is only PC5300.. and I don't think that 610W Silencer will last me too long after I get the 8800GTX and do a bit of OCing, I am thinking about the 750W version but thats a bit too expensive.

Get rid of the case??? Lol, sure, i'll put it all in my cardboard box. $2000 computer in a $2 box.

The Crucial ram uses D9GMH, the same chips most high end ddr2 800 sticks use

Th 610w silencer would be more than enough for the GTX and actually matches the total amp output of the 12v rail on the 700w GXS

You don't need a case, something made of foam to rest the motherboard on and you're done, it doesn't have to be permanent but if it means getting the 8800GTS today then it's worth doing

You have bugs in your computer room?

Dust/bugs+8800GTS>Case+7950GT

The Crucial sticks are still $30 cheaper
