Yes, yes there IS a difference between 60Hz and 120 Hz (video) - Page 3

I can only see myself going back to my AW2310 if I start playing shooters competitively, and then it would still be a maybe. Personally, I'm enjoying playing BF3 around 60fps, on maximum at 2560x1440 and 60Hz, and the extra field of vision feels like more of an advantage than 120Hz ever did.

Could anyone recommend me a 120hz screen in the cheapest end possible? My budget is highly limited after upgrading system.

Samsung S23A700D (280$), not only is it the cheapest but it is tied for the #1 best <24" 120hz display

As soon as there is an IPS 120Hz display I am all over it. Until then, I'll stick with the IPS.

I take it you bought one of those Korean IPS displays. I have to agree, 120Hz is definitely cool, but I couldn't give up the resolution (I also am at 2560x1440) nor the image quality of the IPS display. But once someone steps up to the plate and releases a 120Hz IPS display... best of both worlds!

Thanks man, it looks pretty damn good, but unfortunately it is on the high side for my budget. Anything cheaper would be ideal for me, tongue.gif

The Samsung S23A700D has a blue tint to it which causes colors to be less vibrant, the Asus has better color and less input lag.

after going from 120hz to 3 crossovers. IPS all the way. The difference in resolution and quality is just miles ahead. With that said I just dabble cs go and bf3 and getting 120fps+ to satisfy 120hz won't happen anyways at 7680x1440p.

I forgot to mention that I can tell the difference between 60 Hz and 75Hz on my particular monitor, sometimes it conditions are right you can and will notice a difference.
