So I am trying to decide how much power I need and server side and HTPC side. I plan to use Windows Media software to run the HTPC. I would like general media streaming (bluray movies and dvd audio) and web browsing to include nexflix etc. There will be minor gaming, but that isn't a huge deal.
1) With Windows Media streaming, is the media playing on the external server or the local HTPC?
2) If I remote desktop to my main rig and launch a game there, then is my HTPC being used at all beyond the bandwidth consumed? Lets say I'm running Witcher 2 maxed everything.
3) With this particular model, the HTPC shouldn't require much storage space over the OS and minor programs(30GB). Correct?
4) Is much RAM neccessary for something of this caliper (1/2/4/8GB...)?
Intended setup:
MITX MOBO
PCIE soundcard
Intel HD GFX 1155 Processor
