Gaming Audio help!

Thread Starter
Hello, i have a xonar ROG phobeous on 30 days.
(Also my ROG Mic input makes my mic buzz like crazy in games)

I have an old Xonar DX that works fine, and a pair of AD700 headphones (32ohm)

Should i sell my ROG and use my DX?

or

Sell my ROG and use the 200$ to upgrade my motherboard (asrock extreme4, i53570k) and use digital?

I was thinking maybe go for a Xonar DGX or maybe just use a Xonar U3

or put that money towards a new motherboard and use onboard

if you already have a dx use it and forget about all those other strategies imo. The cheaper DG is more than enough for gaming directional sound for me, but I am a stereo gamer and find virtual surround less acccurate.
