I agree, if you feel this guy isnt pc literate then you will have phone calls as to why bf3 doesnt play smooth when really its just his vram being maxed out.

Get 670 SLI instead of a 690, save money and should out perform it (OC) or be within a few frames.

Case is personal preference, but I would suggest not getting one with a door, they just get in the way IMO.

I suggest the Cm Storm Troopers http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119245&Tpk=cm%20storm%20trooper

I definitely thought about that, but I chose the 690 because power consumption and heat was better than two 680s. I could change my mind, ill look into it some more. The 690 is 4gb (2 x 2gb 680s)

Memory in SLI doesn't add. Its still a 2GB card because of the way SLI uses memory.

What he means is trying to put the operating system and little things on the solid-state and games HDD can be a little confusing if you don't know what you're doing.

Might I say though, that 690 really looks the part... What a beautiful card!

If I were to go with two 670s would the power supply I picked (850) still be sufficient?

If money is no object then why not go for two 690s?
