Compare Digital to Analog pic Quality - Page 2

Digital display usually has a locked in resolution while analog will let you use a few different res. Digital seems to be a little picky then analog, but as far as display goes I wouldnt worry about it too much. Only when you want to start doing HD and need HDCP then worry.

A monitor wouldnt act like a mirror unless it has a glass finish, and this will only act as a mirror if sat at the correct angle to it (normally 45').

I do hope your talking about LCD monitors, my one downstairs has no problems with glare etc when sun is beaming through windows.

So my advise, look at the picture and determine wether it has a shiny finish.

Now to adress the real question, i have not yet tried DVI with my monitor, however i do want to see if there is any difference and will infrom you when i do get a cable.

If it makes u feel better mine has the same problem, when i plug into the DVI port it flashes after a little while of gaming, but I see no difference in DVI and Analog, makes me wonder whats the point lol, that aside it would just be better for you i think to just go to the analog port, as u have to someone with ultrasensative supersonic eyes to see a difference lol. Just my 2 cents.
