My temps with 2 BIX GTX 360 Rads

Here is my set up:

One Loop

One MCP-655-B Pump in a XSPC Bay Res

Two BIX 360 Radiators with 3 Scythe Ultra Kaze 2000 RPM fans in Pull. Both radiators are exhausting heat.

One EK Supreme HF Block

Two GTX 580 Blocks

After doing 50 runs of Intel Burn I was at 62C max on CPU(3820) stock settings. The ambient temp is 28C.

I think these temps seem really high for water-cooling, I do not know if it is my pump not being able to keep up flow. Estimated flow is around .8GPM.

Here is the order:

Pump Res-> Rad 1-> CPU-> Rad 2-> GPU 1 and 2 -> Res/Pump

Should I change the order? This system has been running for maybe 3 months and has crystal clear water.

I don't know what good temps are for the 3820 or for the Sandy E tbh. But if you think it may be on the higher side then the most likely cause would be the ek supreme hf seating on the cpu. Might want to try reseating. Those two radiators with ultra kazes should be able to keep your loop cool. At the same time the sandy e do run warm, so you may very well be operating at fine temperatures.

mr stealth,
what kinda temps were you getting on air?
what is the vcore voltage?
are the kaze @ 12volt?
i wouldnt change the order at all...

At 5ghz, my 3820 was barely over 70c, 72c max with ambient around 24c.

That's what I have seen..... do you think I should remount the block?

Ultra Kaze are on 12v.

No air temps, also the stock voltage is 1.288v, did I get a crap chip?

I wonder if I should remount my block.

Yea, check the mount. Although, it's really hard to mess up a mounting with the easy mount system.

i was looking at the LGA 2011 and corsair H100 mount issues on their forum and suprisingly, there are hundreds of mounting issues..
not to sound trite.. but if its crock-eyed.. s'mthin' is definently wrong.. if you gotta force it.. s'mthin' is definently wrong

Pump's set to 5? I gain a few degrees if I turn my D5 to low, but I only have a CPU, and rad in my loop, you've got more restriction, but .8 GPM seems a bit low, but I don't know much about how much restriction that adds (I have no flow meter) I thought the D5 had > 3 GPM.

Use the fans in push on bix. And better is if you'd go for the 3000rpm.
