homeade psu cable shroud thing

i think you would call it a psu shroud but i don't know but those things that slide over wires in super nice cases. Well I have some super nice cases but none seem to have that thing but i usually have full modular fully sleeved cables. But with my htpc i dont ui have a cx5600 with lots of cables i dont need and not much cable routing room so i made this.

After

I made this from and old psu and it even gives me and extra fan in my case smile.gif.
might be hard to see my cathodes just died yesterday im getting leds tho.
I used plastic washers for the feet then hot glued Velcro on top of them. I put velcro on the bottom of the case where the feet will go. drilled 2 sides out with a rotary air saw. I sanded the edges to prevent ripping the cables. Oh and the fan has a quick disconnect. so i hope you like it thanks.

I thought about doing this same exact thing with an old PSU I have as well. Main reason was because I was going to put my Aquaero LT down there and have the fan blowing on it. But changed my design a little.

Looks great and hides that mess of cables. Now get an extension and put that ESP 8 pin behind the MOBO and your good

ya i already ordered one should be here next week a atx 24 one 2 cuh there sleeved:) a key if u decide to do it i put the grill on the bottom side of the fan so the cables dont hit works great actually blows a nice amount of air an the vents face the drive bay which thats where my 120mm front intake is so it works good. I dont realy need the extra fan but i figured better than a hole.

Pretty cool, might do this as well to a logisys PSU that i didn't realize until it was too late that they suck, so i haven't dared plugged anything into it, but has 2 fans so i'll put them to good use to cool my gpu while hiding my cables.
