Hi All,
I am very new to building PC's, I decided I wanted to build my own PC with a Budget of $2,000 AUD to get it done.
I came up with a list of gear i needed and looked the hardware that I wanted, the list of hardware is a little long but I went all out from my perspective (and limited knowledge). So the list looks like this (All purchased and in the case now):
Case: Thermaltake Armor Revo Black Full Tower Case,
Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Pro Motherboard,
CPU: AMD FX 8 Core 8150 Black Edition,
RAM Corsair Vengence DDR 3 32 GB,
Video Card: MSI Radeon HD7770 Power Edition 1 GB,
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Frio,
Optical Drive: LG BD-R Blu-ray DVD Combo,
Power Supply: Thermaltake Tough Power 875w,
Sound: ASUS Xonar DGX,
Wireless: D-Link Wireless 150 PCI Adapter,
HD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB,
SSD: Samsung 830 128GB,
Keyboard: Thermaltake Tt eSPORTS gaming Keyboard,
Mouse: Thermaltake Black Series Gaming Mouse (White),
Monitor: LG 24 inch,
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit
Please bear in mind that this is the first ever PC i have built, in the pictures the cabling could be better and there was one or two technical issues I ran into that I had to sort out. The build was a spur of the moment thing so I built it then decided to show people.
Tell me what you think. (BTW The total cost came in at $1963)
Dave
