My New AMD Game PC Build - Page 3

Thread Starter
Hi All,

Well I have taken your advice onboard and have found a graphics card that I think you are referring too.

http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=19508

Would this suit the system ?

Dave

Keep in mind that options are often limited to fairly over-priced vendors in some places (e.g. Australia).

Agreed, this card will be great if you are only ever planning on a single card. Or this card if you want to splurge a little bit

Yeah I was going to recommend that but I assumed op chose the the reference as he was on a budget. That and the sapphire are better if the op can find the extra money but powercolour are also very good

I live in New Zealand and there is not a massive price difference. I think he just rushed it and didn't look around carefully.

Regardless of price, he could have gotten different, better parts with no increase in parts.

rolleyes.gif Remember, this was his first ever build. He had to include things like keyboard, mouse,OS,monitor, fans, etc.All this adds up,a lot.The only things I see that was probably overpriced are the PSU and the 32GB of RAM.The case maybe, but then that is largely dependent on what the customer likes as far as styling. The ToughPower Grand is pricey, but it comes with a 7 year warranty. To say he didn't research and got ripped off is very rude and insulting tbh.Very clearly he did,and did a good job for his first time.

OP I would suggest a 7870 GPU.You really won't need anything higher for a single 1080P screen. This one will match your color scheme
