I'm having trouble on my Seasonic X560 Power supply, My PSU is replaced once due to the same problem I'm experiencing now, and the PSU is still at 1 year warranty from retailer.
Symptoms of the problem is I'm having difficulties to power on the computer with this power supply. I tested with other cheap power supply on this computer and it works great. no problem.
I also tested the Seasonic PSU at other 2 known good computer and the problem is there. heres the following computer spec i used and the other spec i tested the psu
main:
CPU: Q9400 Intel
MB: DFI lanparty
GPU: GTS 450
RAM: 8 gb
HD 650 caviar black
tested on
CPU: AMD Phenom
MB: Gigabyte
GPU: 6770
RAM: 6gb
HD: 500gb Seagate
(with its cheaper PSU still keep running in good state)
(with Seasonic PSU. having trouble in powering on)
also on
CPU: E5300 intel
MB: Intel
GPU: palit 8400 gs
RAM: 4gb
HD: 1tb Seagate
(with its cheaper PSU still keep running in good state)
(with Seasonic PSU. Hving trouble in powering on)
i get attracted why i choose to buy the product because of its good review in the internet and it comes with the 5years warranty from manufacturer. but it seems i maybe a victim of low quality product or maybe just a defected PSU but this is already twice happen in just a month.
im formely using OCZ PSU and i never get a problem with this also using other true rated cheaper power supply and its older than this and still rocking my computer.
my computer is connected to a UPS APC 500va brand and AVR 500va with servo motor
