I see. Looks like im gonna have to do some more research before making a purchase. Better get it right the first time, they arent cheap afterall ^.^. I allready asked another guy on this thread about this, but i see no harm getting 2 opinions smile.gif What is the difference between, blue, red brown, black etc. switches on the keyboards. First off, im not even sure what they are, and second i read that apparently red and brown are best for gaming?

Red and browns are not best for gaming, it's all about preferences.

Honestly I have a mechanical KB (albeit a chap razer) it doesn’t really do anything special for me. When I’m in the middle of an intense battle I completely forget about the keyboard. Mine is a little noisy and tends to get annoying after a little while, my friend is constantly complaining about it, I miss my old G15. Typing on the keyboard is awesome gamming eeh, nothing special.

You didn’t throw out a budget for a monitor so I will go ahead and throw out a 24” Asus IPS monitor for $335 shipped. Resolution is 1920x1200 and I would say it would be a very much worthwhile upgrade, you also get the awesome color and clarity of an IPS panel.

A monitor upgrade might make games more interesting and maybe even enhance the experience while a keyboard, not so much.

I’m currently trying to sell my 27” to get that 24” IPS.

Asus Monitor Amazon
Asus Monitor Newegg

Edit: Wrong monitor! Fixed.
