I'm not sure if trixx can disable poweplay, but thats what you need to disable if you are getting 3d clock induced flicker. If your flicker is happening all teh time, then you should try reinstalling the driver.
Afterburner can run in a mode that essentially disabled powerplay.

**Note on the mode setting. Some new games are causing clock conflicts with Powerplay creating flickering on the dekstop. You can avoid this by choosing 2, instead of 1. I am running with Powerplay off. Look Mom, no flickering. biggrin.gif
