Home CCTV setup - network storage question

Thread Starter
Sorry if this thread isn't quite in the right area, mods feel free to move it.

Basically I've had a theif try to get into my home (while I and my partner were asleep), and i'll also be travelling in the not too distant future for a while.

I've found this piece of kit online:

wireless CCTV cam

I guess this is kind of a network question because this thing doesn't appear to have any ability to 'store' the video and audio that it can display in real time over various devices. I was wondering if its possible to have some kind of 'cloud' storage where the images, audio, video etc are stored. Storing it on my 2TB HDD would be kind of pointless because no theif is going to leave my computer behind lol.

I live in China and I have quite a lot of valuables in my home so it's really just for peace of mind. Thanks for any advice.

Check this out, this is what I'm going to do when I move back to the US. It's called Dropcam, it lets you access your webcam from any device over the internet and they also offer online storage for as litltle as 10 bucks a month for 7 days worth of recording. I don't know if you being in China effects the availability of this.
