Boost bios on a reference 7950

Hi, I got a 7950 from MSI, this card with reference pcb: http://cdn.overclock.net/0/03/03284ca6_244a.jpeg
I mounted a GELID Icy Vision-A on it so temperatures are completely fine.

I was woundering about the voltage (up to ~1.10v, my card is at 0.993v @stock)

Is it worth it to flash with this bios ?

no that card's cooler is not good. don't flash the HD 7950 Boost BIOS. the voltage is very high at 1.25v on the Boost BIOS. stick to manual voltage tweaking. Keep temps below 75c . thumb.gif

I DONT have the stock cooler on my card but this gelid: http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews/1535/pg1/gelid-icy-vision-a-gpu-cooler-for-amd-review-introduction.html
Temps are awesome with it.

But wow 1.25 seems pretty high for only 920mhz, i will stick with software overclocking biggrin.gif
