I'm specifically aiming for that shop, because i'm ordering other parts which are only available there. It's in portugal by the way.

I'm also on a budget and looking to spend the least ammount possible, the CX appears to be the best option and it's the least expensive, so it's looking good considering.

Ok, the Antec EarthWatts 380D is better than CXv2 and costs about the same... I'd go for that.

Of those, I would say Antec Earthwatts Green 380D

I'm not that sure about many of the options there though, but I think most of the rest like the OCZ, Zalman, Chieftec, Thermaltake in that price range are lowish-end HEC, CWT, FSP... in that case, the Antec should be better than that.

And would the 380w be enough? Well, if you're reccomending it, I assume it performs above the effective wattage the CX2 can put out, or about the same, am I correct?

Since both of them has 28A on the +12v rail, the CX430v2 won't provide any more usable power than the EA-380D. On top of that, the Antec would provide better electrical performance and build quality.

As for whether it's "enough", well, I can't see the specification of your system, and I don't think you have even mentioned it on this thread. So if you want an accurate response to this, it would be a good idea to update the specification of your computer in your sig.

Well, I've made other threads here so I basically have confirmation that the corsair would be enough, that and I calculated the wattage based on reviews, so if the usable power is about the same, it should be more than enough, but here it goes anyway:

Phenom II x4 945 C3

HD4850 (will probably be switched for a 5770 I have around here)

ECS 780GM-A (will probably be upgraded to am3+ board in the future)

about 5 or so Fans

Run of the mill HDD

4GB of RAM DDR2 (will upgrade to DDR3 when i upgrade the board)

NIC card

Pretty much it.

From what i've seen it's more than enough for this system even considering some future upgrades.

Looks like i'll have to go with the hexa, the rest is out of stock at the moment.
