The font is normal size when you are looking at it on the screen itselt, however it does look smaller since its such a larger display surface...I did have to make the chat window and map larger though because I would always forget about it sitting down there in the corner.... haha

A07 built in Mexico in July...And no dead or stuck pixels that I have noticed...(Trust me I would notice also...) There is a dead one on my work monitor and it DRIVES ME INSANE...

Congrats, I love mine too. I also have a 120hz 3d monitor as my secondary. They both have their pros and cons but I prefer 2560x1600:thumb:

30" seemed to large for me I couldn't push the monitor back far enough on my large desk to see the whole screen.

Also only paid 700$ couldn't make the U3011 worth it at 1300$

I think thats what I like the most about the 30 inch screen...I actually have to look around the screen...Makes me feel more involved in the game...

And I only paid $469....

They price matched the one that Amazon had for $1129, plus I had $660 in Dell gift cards from my laptop purchase... smile.gif...Otherwise I would have prolly gotten the 27inch one...But then when I saw that Dell was giving me some killer Gift Cards...I did what any impulse buyer would do...haha...GO BIG OR GO HOME...tongue.gif

They are purrrdy aren't they? biggrin.gif

I was actually really surprised at how much bigger the U3011 is than the U2711 when I saw them side by side at Microcenter. I mean I thought my 2711 was big but those things are massive!

Glad you're happy with it! IMO the complaints about the AG are way blown out of proportion. I prefer it to a reflective screen when I'm working in photoshop/illustrator at any rate.

You'd be awfully surprised how quickly 30" becomes normal. I go to work on a 24" 16:9 and it's tiny to me, I own a HP ZR30w. I owned three u3011's in the past though.

I guess I couldn't justify the price. I could have gotten use to the size. i could have bought almost 2x U2711's Thinking about grabbing a second not sure If I really need it to stream webpages and stuff while I game/ multi-task.

I 100% prefer the glossy screen on my laptop, however the AG coating on this thing is actually pretty nice since it does sit right next to a window..And it is really not noticable at all when gaming.

I agree...I got it on Friday...and then came into work today using a 22inch 16:9...and I became a sad panda...

Then again I remember when I had a 20.1 inch and was like OHH EMMM GEEE...then upgraded to the 22 that I had...and couldnt imagine playing on anything bigger...

I took my 22 inch that I had and hooked it up just for that purpose...I won't do any dual screen gaming...but its nice to have OCN up at the same time as GW2... tongue.gif
