I am ready to jump away from 60hz and step up into 120hz but im not sure which to choose. I need selections. If possible $500 and under. I was thinking about this for

BenQ XL2420T: $391.00

Nice choice! Saw a video of it being used to perform a 60Hz vs 120Hz test to see if gamers can tell the difference.

Samsung 700d is popular as well and cheaper. The benq and 700d would be wha I would decide between if I could afford monitors of that price range. Eips will have to do at least until I get real employment lol.

I like the bends feature set better but I dunno if I like it so much better that the price difference is worth it lol. Sadly the 700d was like 40 bucks out my price range when I ordered my monitor.

Great to see benq being recommended, I just ordered one yesterday smile.gif Other choices I considered were Asus monitor vg278h (120hz) or newer model vg278he (144hz) however was slightly more expensive for my taste smile.gif

I'm having the same problem as you, I'm trying to decide between a few 120hz monitors I have found for my new computer.

Heres the two i'm debating and the benQ is one of them.
Monitor: BenQ XL2420T 120Hz 24.0" Monitor ($391.00 @ Amazon)
Monitor: Samsung S23A700D 120Hz 23.0" Monitor ($368.98 @ Amazon)

Main reason i'm thinking about the samsung is I hear the BenQ has bad color compared to the samsung.

If you go to amazon that Samsung is only 290.00 from Electronics EXPO. With shipping it comes out to be $320.29

I was doing reviews on other forums and most of the forums recommended the Samsung over the BenqQ. alot of people said the Response time with the BenQ is slow.

That's all good and well, but doesn't apply to 60 Hz vs. 120 Hz PC monitors, it's about HDTV's. Long time, no see though, looking forward to more nonsense posts from you!
