Wanting to get a pair of Gunnars

Thread Starter
Here there,

I was wanting to get myself a pair of Gunnars. However, I have a particularly hard time trying to find glasses that fit. Is there a actual store distribution center where we are able to go in and try on the different glasses? This would be absolutely awesome as I really like the idea, but have such a hard time finding the 'perfect glasses' and do not want to spend an arm and a leg on shipping back and forth. Thanks for taking the time to read this and hope to hear back from you soon! thumb.gif

Best Buy carries them.

EDIT: Looks like there's a RX retailer in Lakewood. You'll probably have a better chance of trying them on there, not really sure about Best Buy.

Ends tomorrow, only 1 style left. Might be an inexpensive try?

I appreciate the location finder. It looks like that one slipped my mind. rolleyes.gif Going to be going there in a few days to take a look at them.

You can try the Best Buy but not all of them have displays...yet! Can you describe your face type? I can try to pick a few styles that may work. And you're probably aware as you mentioned above, but we do have a 30 day return policy so you could always buy a few pairs and just return whatever you don't like.

Hi there!
I've been waiting for a long time for the release of the Vinyl style and finally it is out. But I am torn between buying the the crystalline and amber lenses. I game around 2-3 hours but spend more of my time at home reading books and comics(physical and digital copies). I'm afraid if i buy the tinted ones, it will 'mess' up the colours especially when reading comics.
I am also currently an engineering student who spends a lot of my time on the laptop in campus, working on CAD and such. I will also doing tons of paperwork (maths homework) in campus and would really like to wear the glasses all the time. So would I be better off with the crystalline or tinted amber lenses? Please advice.
Thanks!

Hi Bruce, we recommend the amber lenses unless you need to see in true color (graphic designers, visual artists, etc). The yellow tint isn't too noticeable. Hope that helps! You can read a bit more here: gunnars.com/crystalline/ thumb.gif
