The 965 is also a very good overclocker and a good all-round gaming cpu, however, you can't unlock it into a 6 core as it only has 4 cores while the 960T has 4 cores and 2 locked cores (4+2 = 6).

Then go with that chip or if your willing to wait for a month or two you can wait till piledriver is released otherwise go with the 965BE. It can easily be overclocked to 4Ghz. If your willing to spend a little more then you can have a look at the 1055T.

.
No offence but i have an Athlon II x2 250 at 4Ghz with the Radeon 6770 overclocked to 960/1250 clocks and i can play crysis 2 at over 45+fps with maxed out settings at a resolution of 1366x768(max resolution of my monitor). Crysis 2 is not a game which requires a lot of cpu power like BF3 but nevertheless it still does.tongue.gif. The FX 4100 is good but i still recommend the 965BE.thumb.gif

If you end up going for a 960T just make sure you get better cooling because once you unlocked the 2 hiding core and overclock it to make it stable IF that chip can't run them stable. You will be creating a lot of heat and trust me I had the same issue but mine ran stable just fine without needing overclocking. Just ran better at 4.0Ghz just can't control the heat at the time with my Hyper 212 since my room gets pretty warm.
