Okay, here is simple example:

Nokia never really claimed that the Lumia itself was being demonstrated in those shots though. I know, it's implied, but they technically didn't advertise the phone as recording "exactly as you see in this here clip with OIS on." It was just an example of what a difference good OIS makes. It would be pretty retarded (in my opinion) to air a commercial that was recorded with a cellphone video camera.

Windows Phone 7 is amazing. You people who say it isn't easy to use are nuts. Honestly, it's probably the EASIEST phone to use. It syncs well with everything and has only 2 screens. The home screen which lists Apps in tile form and then the other screen that is in list form.

It might not be super compatible with Apple products, I honestly don't know I've never used Apple products with it. But I have used Apple products on Windows and it isn't exactly the most compatible thing either. I can understand not liking it because it doesn't have great app support but you can't tell me it's because it isn't easy to use.

Nokia Conducting Ethics Review of Misleading Lumia 920 Ad

Nokia will conduct an ethics review into the video advertisement the company made to promote its upcoming Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8 device, according to a report from Bloomberg. The struggling Finnish company says an ethics officer will look into what happened internally that led Nokia to make an ad that misrepresented the Lumia 920′s photo and video capabilities.

If these prices is real than it is somewhere near fail mark. 600 euros = hell no.
damn nokia I hate to bring this, but:

My understanding is that phone costs are not subsidized by the carriers in Europe. I see you're from Israel, so I guess that sucks for you. redface.gif Most phones would cost that much in the US if it weren't for the subsidies, but because of them we almost never see phone costs over $200.

Yeah, I know that. Tired of people beating a dead horse, all companies "simulate", unfortunately for Nokia they didn't catch that they didn't explicitly say that the images were simulated.

If it were the real PureView that is in the 808, then the film could have looked similar given proper lighting (similar to how a professional photo shoot was done a couple of years ago using the n8).

I'm not saying that Nokia is a bad company (or that the camera on the 920 can't shoot decent video) just because they used a simulated image. I consider using "simulated images" and then placing a little sign in an inconspicuous place to be a little dishonest no matter which company (let the product stand on its own). However, I do think that shooting such an ad and NOT placing a simulated image marker is even more dishonest (I do wonder how can such a video go through hundreds of hours of editing and review, but still miss such an important disclaimer; this is likely the exact problem that Nokia is investigating).

Give the guy a break. English isn't his first language (he uses a translator). Sure, his comment may appear as rambling, but there is definitely a more sentimental meaning behind it all. That, or the translator isn't the most accurate.
