Just scored P10037 in 3DMark11 with my new gigabyte 7950 clocked to 1200 core/1700 mem using sapphire trixx. thats over 1000 points higher than i could achieve with the pos voltage locked vapor-x......

I've said it before and I'll say it again; The GIGABYTE 7950 is the best 7950 in the current market. No contest.

I dont think 7950 vapor-x is voltage locked because if you set constant voltage on from afterburner you can set any voltage. It just needs better software support.

So this is the way forward then?? Flash over the SAPPHIRE HD 7950 950 mhz BIOS?? Im about to receive the vapor-x and want the best performance i can out of it (gigabyte wf3 wouldn't fit in my case so im stuck with the Vapor-x)

Lol the vapor-x is much larger than the gigabyte in length and thickness. If the gigabyte won't fit the vapor-x definately won't.

Vapor-X is shorter, by about half an inch. It's a given that the Gigabyte is thinner though.
