Today big flashing with V09 and V0A bios biggrin.gif
Sapphire support just told me bla bla bla, 950mhz boost works only in 3d, and please start furmark... What i know of course, thanks at they don't told me to change drivers or reinstall windows...

So, one guy on sapphireforum just posted newest versions of bioses, just check your P/N:

Good news man. The new[er] bios released for this card has drastically improved temps for VRM1.

It seems like it shifted the load from VRM1 to VRM2, as VRM1 would be ~110c while VRM2 was ~60c. Now its 92c/69c @ 61% fan! biggrin.gif

Here is a download link: http://www.sapphiretech.com/archive/drivers/299-2e210-201sa_634868704759898677.zip

I am using the boost bios.

It took me a minute to understand their guide. Basically run atiflash from your USB drive, and then type flashb~1 for the regular bios, reboot and type flashb~2 for the boost bios.

Ah, we posted about the same time biggrin.gif. Its a good bios man, rock solid stable low temps!!!!

It stay at after flashing bios1 you should press bios switch to flash bios 2 (step 16 in powerpoint presentation)

Oh yeah i did that just forgot to say it. Have you flashed yours?

First bios V09: 1125/1800@1.006v ,Fan speed 65%, gpu temp 57C, vrm1 73C, vrm2 68 (unigine heaven), must say that: WOW!!!!
And they changed memory voltage to 1.5v

but stil have issue with locked voltage control on powerlimit 20%, and unlocked at 0%...
Trying second bios...

OK, bios v0A boosted, exactly the same with temps.
I found gpu-z maybe showing bad voltages, becasue sometimes it showing 0.500v and 1.498v...

What kind of soft you using for overclocking ? Trixx/gpu-z combination.
If i don't find solution, just want to set constant voltage in Afterburner, because it works for me...

I'm running Trixx for VRM temp monitoring only, and MSI Afterburner for the overclocking.

To unlock MSI Afterburner overclock limits, create a shortcut and add /xcl to the command line. Run it, restart computer, and now MSI Afterburner has much higher limits.

I'm tryin a low noise setup right now. 1200 core / 1850 memory, 1.093v core, 1.625v memory.
72c core temp, 103c VRM1, 92C VRM2 are the maximums after a nice long Furmark run.

50% fan speed.

EDIT: Wow man, this memory is insane... 1900.... @ 1.643v

You have checked "constant voltage" in Afterburner ?
Powerlimit always on +20% ?
Yep.

I have a small problem with this bios though.. voltage monitoring makes no sense. I cant get a proper reading. I could run 1200 @ 1.087v or something no problem before. Now I am not even stable with what it says is 1.125v...
And the memory is all over the place. Some thing I can run 1900 no problem. Others are locking up at 1800, which was rock solid stable before.

EDIT: Btw, with the new BIOS, the power limit is raised so much by default you can leave it at 0. With 1200/1.093v [TrixX monitoring shows .992v? :/] I can run the power limit all the way to negative 4 and not throttle.

Trixx doesn't have monitoring :/
You are on 12.11 Beta4 catalyst.
My card throttles from 950 to 850 at 0% Power LI
