I'm surprised you didn't blow up your card at 1.8 I wouldn't recommend leaving it there

Meant 1.18vddc. It actually will vary depending on load between 1.18-1.2...I imagine I could try to take it higher, but 1200mhz is good for now. I'm not greedy...yet.

So far, I've got it to 1200/1500. Tried 1550 on the memory, but when the card tries to downclock to 2d clocks, I am getting screen freezes, vertical bars. It's random, doesn't happen after every instance of Heaven or Valley.

Also, 3dmark 2013 will randomly crash to desktop...granted I'm trying the most extreme settings, but with Fire Strike set to higher than Extreme presets, it jumps to desktop, but the sounds still play in the background.

Whats your VDDC without vdroop?

Do you get a "display driver has stopped responding and..." thing when you C2D?

Your VRM temps seem considerably better than mine despite being >0.12v higher as well. 8+8pin?

VDDC is set to 1.25, so it's upwards of 60mV of droop.

The display driver does not crash when 3dmark goes to desktop. It's odd. I can run 3dmark11 on Extreme doing loops of the game tests and I haven't had any issues. Did over an hours worth of looping just now.

VRM temps are never more than 72C under Heaven, Valley, or 3dmark11 with a custom extreme preset. Core temp is 60-62C. My previous card had similar temps, but couldn't clock this well.

And yes, it's a 2x8-pin card.

Nice OC at that voltage, grats. For stability, i really don't bother with stress tests. I just prefer to test with games instead. If i can game Far Cry 3, BF3 etc. for hours straight without problems i consider it stable.

I'd need about 1.25v real voltage to be able to run 1200 stable but the vdroop brings me down to about 1.23-1.24 max which makes it artifact in Far Cry 3 slightly.frown.gif

Well, the droop is related to VRM current draw. The higher the current, the lower the VDDC(as I can see in the log). I'd like to try for 1250 on the core, but I'm comfortable with the VDDC where it is now. As for the memory, seems I can't push it beyond 1500mhz with the stock voltage. GPUZ says the memory voltage is 1.602, but that never changes in the log, so I wonder if it's really that high. Guess I could try Afterburner?
