I plan on adding a gtx 275 to my current system which is comprised of a 2700k fully overclocked, a stock gtx 570, couple HDDs, an SSD, few case fans.

According to phaedrus' quick n dirty psu calc with my system the way it is it recommends a 660W psu, im only using a seasonic x-650 at the minute so does that mean theres no chanc of me adding the extra gtx 275?

The Seasonic X 650 is plenty sufficient for your setup.

You are looking at 150-200w for the CPU, ~200w for the 570, ~125w for the 275 (probably less when just used for physx), and maybe 50w total for everything else in the system. This is assuming maximum load.

You can also likely get away with altering the clocks on the 275 to lower power consumption without hurting PhysX performance. PhysX is almost totally shader dependent and you can substantially under clock the memory and ROPs without hurting PhysX overly much.

It's plenty sufficient for the GTX 275 as well.

Even if you were running seven threads of LinX and two instance of FurMark while defragmenting all of your drives, you would not exceed the rated output of the PSU (though it would be close).
