I've only made it to the Mun orbit so far. It's a bit tricky to be honest biggrin.gif

Better than me. I can never get a level slingshot to even reach Mun orbit. I've had a lot of close shots but none successful. mad.gif

Does this count?

So after countless attempts (with and without MechJeb) I finally landed (Crashed) and survived. okay so I crashed but the big part is I survived.
Lots of Big Pics (Click to show)

And we're off:

screenshot65.png

Arriving:

screenshot66.png

Close...

screenshot67.png

MechJeb Troll engaged: "Oh hey, I see you want to land vertically?"

screenshot70.png

"Here try landing horizontally, it's much better."

screenshot71.png

Thank god for quicksaving, and getting closer to landing again:

screenshot73.png

This one is Bills fault:

screenshot75.png

And we hit the ground at 10m/sish but hit with a lot of horizontal velocity, and on a hill. Lander flips, Bill ejects:

screenshot76.png

Bill: "That was not me. Crap."

screenshot77.png

Bill goes exploring and finds Mimus in the sky:

screenshot79.png

Bill is bad at landing with jetpacks too:

screenshot82.png

My command pod survived, and all my crew, plus cool Kerbin shot:

screenshot83.png
screenshot84.png

Found a lander leg section....

screenshot87.png

So that's all my pics, sorry for the massive amounts. But yeah, maybe some would call it a failure, but it is the first time my crew survived and went on an EVA on the Mun. Gonna launch a rescue mission later. smile.gif And when I found out my crew survived, I started jamming out and almost dancing like this.

Also I wanna be a memeber biggrin.gif

Loved the screenshots. I haven't played in 2 weeks or so and this MechJeb is completely foreign to me. Game recently updated or mods? I gotta jump back in today.
