I'm up to 1948KM at 665m/s now, speed is slowly dropping but altitude is still increasing although slowly now
edit: I sped up time again and hit in the 1960KM range and then noticed it start losing altitude. going to be a long fall
Like cakewalk said, use your map. Also you ought to watch some tutorials on KSP, really helps me.

Then as your making your way to the mun in space, make course corrections and check your map (m key) and get it till there's a yellow line that shows your target landing on the mun. Then basically just coast in and turn around when your a few k above the mun, then slowly burn till it slows down.
When you blast off you shouldn't need any more than 3000m/sec to get to the mun. I just stop burning and it just slows down due to gravity to around 2200m/sec or slower, anything under 2km/sec and you need to go a little faster. The only reason why I crashed was I was moving lateral of the ground and it toppled over when I landed...
It's a challenge.
Didn't call hax that you got out of your ship, I called hax for the unlimited jetpack fuel, and it wasn't so much as calling you out for hacking as a joke.
Landed on the Mun for the second time now, though I let MechJeb do the landing, since having an autopilot is realistic.
Though I do everything else manually. However while descending to the Munar surface I saw something in the distance, and wanted to see what it was since it didn't show anything on my map. Well long story shot I got my Kerbal 2KM off the Munar surface and landed at 70m/s
He died. Oh well, going to try and lift off, though I really need to work to streamline my current Munar rocket/lander.
EDIT: The new KSP .17 is out! Though everyone must be downloading it because the KSP servers are slow, as in 3KB/s for me..
The rocket that will take me to the new planets and moons!
I've tweaked it a little, though this is the main stage after my boosters jettison. I've swapped out the engines, and now at lift off I have a total of 2,275 thrust from the main engines, and 3,200 from the boosters. (I think), and the final stage also provides 2,275 thrust. That thing can MOVE.
Also thought it was a nice picture. Edited by Evenger14 - 9/21/12 at 7:27pm
