I would grab the EVGA 570.

Or if you could extend the budget a little bit. a 660ti is more powerful and consumes less power in the process.

Your RAM is garbage as well. I had the same memory and it doesn't impress.

Ok thank you! I updated the build list!

Also, this GPU seems to have better specs, so why is the other one better.

i would recommend if u can go with intel if its in your budget, change your ram and get a better brand psu and you dont need a 750w unless you plan on going sli.

AMD seems to have more power for the price. Why do you suggest Intel?

You have more power accross all 8 cores, however in per thread based performance, Intel is king.

Amd will pull pull ahead in tasks like rendering and video editing.

Intel dominates in things like Game performance.

agree, amd is only the best when it comes things like heavy video editing and thats it.

a mid range cpu from intel like 2500k ( a beast chip) outperforms all amd chips even the piledriver and its not even out yet. its funny tho because the 2500k has been out for over a year. amd 8120 - $160 and intel 2500k $220 ( $180 if you live near a microcenter ). i switched from 955 be o.c 4.1 and never looking back

I would change the green hard drive to blue Green is 5400 rpm and have a reputation for failing.Blue is 7200 rpm and reliable.Black is even better.
tbh..I'd get this..twice the cache and 7200 rpm http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148840

PSU..That PSU is no bueno..tbh, I don't even think it will run your cpu+ a gpu if you overclock at all ..maybe even if you don't eek.gif

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371044 This is a good PSU.but really I would get a true 750w one..

You should get an aftermarket cooler ..Hyper 212+ or this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835214023&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-CPU+Cooling-_-Enermax-_-35214023
