I am using the mid tower case and I have kept the phantom 410 box to transport the computer. I have yet to really move it around all that much but when you have a desktop in college I figure you better want to keep it in good condition.

But depending on your parts list you might be able to go smaller, see I went with a SBe 3930k so I plan to upgrade to a watercool in the future, and my midtower will be able to house that.

OK, I guess this wasn't made clear, I'd prefer an ATX Mid Tower. I feel comfortable with the rest of my spec, and I really would prefer not to have to change it. Unless it is the accepted thing to do to go small form factor for college builds.
