My biased vote for the Bitfenix Prodigy, it's ideal for being lugged around and is pretty "small".

I'd suggest going one of two routes for a college dorm build:
1 - Something sturdy, with a handle, that can be easily modded to lock up tight. Something like a Silverstone SUGO SG04B-H, add your own lock.
2 - an old junker (beat up old gateway, emachines, acer...) case. You can compensate for lack of cooling potential fairly easy with a little time and work. Security through obscurity.
Why? Because your stuff will get wrecked if its fragile, stolen if it looks cool, and will be a PITA to lug it around if it's not portable - and you WILL want to lug it around, trust me.

Statement is a little naive without knowing user ch3co and his or her living situation. When I was 18 (6 years ago), I paid my way through college and no way in hell could I have paid for nice builds without putting college and life on pause. All of my earned income went to food, tuition, books, and the occasional date.
ch3co - The Antec 300 should fit your bill just fine.
