Hey people,
So to make a long story short..I upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit from Vista 32-bit and everything works great,. except the new RAM. I purchased 2x4GB sticks of Crucial CT2KIT51264A1339 R off of Newegg: , however, they did not work and I get no POST. I made sure they were in right, switched DIMMs, etc., but nothing worked. Finally I put my old 4GBs of GSkill RAM: back and it booted up fine. So I figured they were dead; bad RAM is common enough right? I RMA'd with Newegg and got a replacement set but it still doesn't work. I don't get what is going on here. They are both DDR3 1333 which is the highest my mobo can support non-overclocked. Can anyone help me and shed some light on this issue? Thanks
