Out of range

Hi guys. Just having another monitor problem.
The last time i was having a problem with regards to the generic pnp monitor. I managed to fix it. Though another problem again. I was about to play GTA 4 but then when it starts out of range just pops out and black screen. The weird thing is i can play it before without those problem. But now it says out of range. How can I fix this? THANKS

what exactly is "out of range"? perhaps in your game settings you set the resolution farther than your monitor can handle. that could cause it to give you a black screen

No. I can play it before. 1920x 1080. Then just yesterday i dont know what happen. I was downloading someting, thats why i decided to play first while waiting for it to finish then it says out of range. Though My other games work well

As long as both your monitor and video card can handle 1920x1080 then it should work. Try two things for me...
1st right click on desktop and click screen resolution, and confirm that it is set to 1920x1080. next go to device manager and check for updates to both your video card and your monitor(even though the monitor is pnp it may have some sort of driver). let me know what you find.
